A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Krafton's ANA in the "Shine Bright" Music Video

3D Artist Seungmin Kim shared a collection of previously-undisclosed renders and materials for Krafton's UE-powered virtual human.

In case you missed it, back in September 2022, PUBG developer Krafton released "Shine Bright", a great music video that featured ANA, the company's virtual human that was created using Unreal Engine's 3D-based hyper-realism technology. Half a year later, we finally got a chance to learn more about the production process behind the music video, all thanks to Seungmin Kim, a 3D Artist known to many for creating highly-realistic character models and portraits.

The recent ArtStation post shared by Seungmin revealed that the artist was a part of the production team behind "Shine Bright" and was responsible for creating ANA's face, body, and hair, as well as still image rendering and partial clothing. According to the author, the music video's main character was made using 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Marmoset Toolbag, XGen, TexturingXYZ's materials, and Unreal Engine.
