A Fan Makes a UE5-Based Remake of Simpsons: Hit & Run in a Week

We now need the official remake as soon as possible.

Don't know about you but I'm old and one of the best games in the early 2000s was The Simpsons: Hit & Run which offered a chance to visit the legendary world of The Simpsons in 3D and meet all the iconic characters along the way. The title sold over 3 million copies worldwide and we'd love to get the next part or an official remake but in the meantime check out a fan-made remake that will let you go back in time.

Reubs, a big fan of the original Hit & Run, used Unreal Engine 5 to recreate the well-known locations and it took him just a single week. First, he used a tool created by Lucas Cardellini that allowed the developer to export the original Hit & Run map to Unreal. Reubs then enhanced some textures using AI and also made a few textures by hand. Then, he also turned ray tracing, tweaked a couple of settings, and got the final gorgeous result.

Unfortunately, the remake can’t be downloaded as the original link was deleted due to "copyright concerns." Would you like to test this fan-made remake?
