A Miniature World Animation Created in Unreal Engine 5

The author utilized the Tilt Shift technique and The City Sample to create this project.

A Reddit user and UE enthusiast known as llewsor unveiled a breathtaking miniature world animation made in Unreal Engine 5. The animation depicts a modern city with busy streets, tall buildings, traffic, and small people going on their business. Plus, the animation has a stop motion effect that emphasizes the cozy feel of the entire project.

Accordiing to the artist, the project was made using Epic Games' City Sample asset pack and the Tilt Shift technique, with 50mm lens and 0.01 aperture. To render the scene, the artist made the cameras spawnable in Sequencer and rendered it at 24 FPS. To finish everything off, the author sped up the footage a bit and added a posterize time to 10 FPS to create the aforementioned stop motion effect and "make it feel more miniature".
