A New Series of Architecture Tutorials for 3D Environment Artists

3D Artist Josh H started a new series of tutorials dedicated to teaching architecture-related topics relevant to Environment Artists.

3D Environment Artist Josh H, a.k.a. perilinear, has announced the start of a new series of tutorials on various architecture-related topics relevant to Environment Artists who work on games and films. The series will contain multiple episodes, with each episode covering a general topic that branches into a story about the design of buildings and featuring technical engineering information, architecture design principles, visual diagrams, and a lecture.

Alongside the announcement, the artist has also released the first episode of the series, dedicated to reinforced concrete frames. In this episode, the artist spoke about the anatomy of a concrete frame, explained the importance of tension and compression, discussed some real-world examples, and showed some techniques that will help you to set up realistic environments.
