A New Tactical FPS With Crysis Vibes Aims to Simulate the Human Body

Gray Zone Warfare is an immersive tactical FPS where the main focus is realism.

Watch a new trailer for Gray Zone Warfare, an immersive tactical FPS where developers decided to focus on realism. The story lets you become a member of a Private Military Company and explore a vast open-world setting alone or in a squad.
The story is set after a mysterious event that took place on an island in Southeast Asia – the entire area has been put under international quarantine. Three PMCs received a task from "their enigmatic clients to explore the region, uncover its secrets, and bring back anything of value."
The development team promises extensive weapon customization and "actual ballistic simulation". You will be able to craft new weapons to define your playstyle by exchanging, removing, or adding "hundreds of various parts, mounts, and accessories."

One of the highlights of the project is the game's unique health system that "abandons the widespread idea of hitpoints and instead aims to simulate the human body realistically". The team claims that every injury can negatively affect players' perception and performance. You will have to correctly identify the issue and find the right solution to survive.

The action will take place across 42km² of the Democratic Republic of Lamang, a fictional Southeast Asian country inspired by Laos. Players can use Landing Zones and helicopters to move through this vast world.
