A Short Guide on Level Design from Plarium

There are many ways to get into the gaming industry depending on what path you'd like to follow. But if you already know that you have great visual design skills and analytical thinking and feel that you'd like to be the one who architects the gameplay experience, you may try to pursue the career of a level designer.

For those who are not familiar with what level design is, game developer Plarium has shared a short guide that shows all the stages of designing levels for a game. 

In the guide, Plarium Poland's Level Designer Daniil Honcharenko explained who takes part in the level designing process and detailed what the specialist's job at every phase is – from planning and concept creation to technical review and testing and a level release to a game.

The guide explains the level designer's responsibilities in a clear way and is supported with visual examples from Plarium's PvP mech shooter Mech Arena.
