Have a look at Journey, a marvelous space scene created by 3D Artist Vadim Sadovski. The scene depicts a lonely spaceship flying through the cosmos with a menacing black hole covering almost the entirety of the background, with tons of details like asteroids and a realistic-looking accretion disk that increase immersion. According to the artist, the entire scene was hand-made in Blender and 3ds Max.
