Billionaire’s Son Opens New Animation Studio

David Steward II is setting up a new production company in Missouri. The first projects will be based on some existing comic properties.

Billionaire David Steward has a son David Steward II, who recently opened up a new animation studio Lion Forge in St. Louis, Missouri. The company will be working with properties, which belong to Lion Forge publishing house, which in its turn belongs to Steward’s parent holding company Polarity.

In his recent interview with Forbes David Steward II mentioned that he believes that St. Louis is a perfect place for creatives.

“St. Louis is the perfect place from a creative standpoint. You can find yourself in a bubble in LA or New York. If you want to be in touch with what’s going on in the country, the Midwest is the litmus test of what’s popular in broader sense”, – David Steward II.

While it might prove challenging to attract industry grade talent from bigger places like LA or NY, it might be a great spot to start a career for younger talented artists!
