Casting Water Spells WIth Niagara in UE5

Here's one more amazing FX made by Wataru Ikeda.

Senior VFX Technical Artist at Epic Games Wataru Ikeda, who previously made some cool-looking stylized explosions, has unveiled a new project that also involves Niagara. This time, the artist has managed to set up an impressive water spell using Unreal Engine 5. For this project, Wataru repurposed and modified the Grid 3D Niagara Fluid sample to make it look like water magic instead of smoke. According to the artist, this effect is lighter than smoke in terms of performance because it doesn't use density, shadows, or lighting when rendering.
