Chorus of Carcosa developers are looking for testers for their upcoming psychological survival horror “filled with alternate realities, mysticism, and madness,” which was made with Unreal Engine 5. Take a look at the first gameplay trailer below:
Drawing inspiration from The King in Yellow, a book by R. W. Chambers that contains short stories of supernatural horror and bizarre fiction, the game lets you take on the role of a solitary sculptor who is stuck in an old apartment building that keeps changing. “Stunning graphics and high-quality 3D sound will make you dissolve in an atmosphere of disturbing fear,” reads the game description.

The trailer above provided us with a glimpse of the eerie atmosphere from a first-person perspective. I was genuinely scared when the stone statue suddenly attempted to attack me as I turned around.
An alternate reality, the “Carcosa,” will invade the space around you to create another layer of disturbing fears. A clip that the developer shared on social media last month shows what it looks like:
