Digital artist Beeple did an NFT collectible drop this weekend and earned over $500,000 in 5 minutes. NFT stands for a non-fungible token with a unique ID that cannot be replicated. In digital art, they’re used to create digital ownership.
The drop included 100 $1 editions, 3 open editions for 5 minutes & 21 1/1 auctions that were going on for 2 ways. The collectibles came with signed physicals with a hair sample in the premium box.
Three crypto-collectibles brought Beeple over $580,000 in 5 minutes:
- The Bull Run was bought 271 times.
- Into The Ether was bought 207 times.
- Infected was bought 123 times.
10 of 21 auction items were sold on Saturday which resulted in gaining $942,866.
