Dissolving Meshes in UE5 With the Dynamic Fracture Setup

Amit Mehar demonstrated the results of yet another Unreal Engine 5 experiment.

3D Artist and Unreal Engine enthusiast Amit Mehar, who just recently showcased a cool experiment with a snow setup and a dynamic system, has demonstrated one more awesome project created with Unreal Engine 5. This time, the artist showed a neat way of dissolving static and pre-fractured meshes using the dynamic fracture setup. According to the creator, with this setup, it is possible to correctly simulate broken pieces of a mesh because "the clustering happens at runtime".
