Epic To Turn Off Online Services for a Number of Older Games

Some of the titles will still be playable offline, while others will no longer be playable.

Epic Games has announced it would be turning off online services and servers for a number of older games as it moves to solely support Epic Online Services.

Epic noted that, on December 14, it has already started removing games from all digital storefronts and began disabling any in-game DLC purchasing. The company apologized to players affected by the changes and added that it will automatically refund players for any in-game purchases that were made via Epic direct payment 180 days prior to December 14.

According to Epic, most of the titles will still be playable offline, while others will no longer be playable.

Here are the titles that will have all online services disabled on January 24 but will continue supporting single or local multiplayer modes offline:

  • 1000 Tiny Claws
  • Dance Central 1-3
  • Green Day: Rock Band
  • Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess
  • Rock Band 1-3
  • The Beatles: Rock Band

  • Unreal Gold
  • Unreal II: The Awakening
  • Unreal Tournament 2003
  • Unreal Tournament 2004
