A 3D Artist Alumio brought original pixelated graphics to the official movie teaser trailer.
The recently released teaser trailer for the upcoming Minecraft movie didn't receive a warm welcome, as reflected in the comments on YouTube. Some fans took it upon themselves to express their creativity, including a 3D artist named Alumio, who animated the teaser in the game's original visual style – and it received much better feedback from the audience.
In the remade version, the trailer's visuals are pixelated and flat, as in the original game. In the official movie trailer, the creators added realism to the game world, making the grass, trees, and sheep look square-shaped but with lifelike textures and placing real-life actors in the environments.

Fans in the comments seem to enjoy the remake better than the official teaser, and some of them even would like to watch the entire film in that visual style. At the same time, the official Minecraft teaser trailer has received more than 1 million dislikes:
