Studio Elodie Games, a company launched by former Riot Games developers, revealed they raised $32.5 million in a Series A funding round.
The money will be used to "sustainably accelerate development within a healthy and inclusive work environment".
The team noes they want to create games that "deliver on three core pillars: deep co-op gameplay, endlessly engaging experiences, and seamless cross-play across PC, mobile, and console."
It is said that the funding round was led by Galaxy Interactive and Andreessen Horowitz, with additional funds provided by Patron and Electric Ant. It was also announced that Galaxy Interactive's Sam Englebardt and Andreessen Horowitz's Jonathan Lai have joined the company's board.
The studio was originally launched in 2019 by Christina Norman and David Banks, former developers of Riot Games. You can find their website here.
