Funny Algorithmic Rigging & Skinning Test on Balloon-Like Creature in Three.js

Some cool experiments by Shaderism.

Algorithmic artist and WebGL developer Arttu Koskela, also known as Shaderism, shared the results of his creative coding in Three.js on a funny creature that might remind you of a balloon-made toy.

Three.js is a JavaScript library and API used to create animated 3D models in a browser using WebGL.

The videos showcase algorithmic rigging, skinning, animations, and lighting done entirely with code. Here are some comparisons of global illumination versus the default Three.js renderer: "Almost like having Blender in the browser."
