God of War on PC Got AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0

The fans have already tested the difference.

The PC version of God of War got a new patch v1.0.12 and with it – AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 support, becoming the third game to have the technology, the other two being DEATHLOOP and Farming Simulator 22.

The developers didn't present any videos showing the difference the technology makes, but the game's fans have already posted some comparisons.

FSR is a temporal upscaling technology that improves performance while maintaining image quality. FSR 2.0 uses an algorithm that uses data from previous frames to reconstruct subsequent ones. Thanks to this, the zoom quality has increased in all modes compared to the first generation FSR.

Other games to receive FSR 2.0 soon include EVE Online, Forspoken, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Grounded. You can find the full list here.
