SideFX posted a new job opening for the position of Senior Houdini Technical Artist (Games).
The future Senior Houdini Technical Artist (Games) is going to develop workflows and create tools with Houdini. The company is searching for an experienced game industry professional with exceptional Houdini skills.
Senior Houdini Technical Artist's duties include developing and testing tools and workflows (primarily via SideFX Labs) to solve real production problems. Apart from that, the employee will communicate with customers in meetings, webinars, live streams, as well as visit game studios and provide guidance on using Houdini. Technical Artist will also occasionally create demo content for trade shows and Houdini-related events.
SideFX needs a highly skilled candidate with a minimum of 5 years experience in the game industry and a minimum of 3 years of Houdini experience. Apart from that, knowledge of the game development pipeline and proficiency with Unity or UE4 is required. Also, the Artist is expected to travel occasionally (around 25 to 35 days a year), including international trips.
