In case you’ve missed GDC 2019 last week, SideFX released a bunch of great lectures online. In this particular video, we’ve got John Moncrief – the Education Training Lead at SideFX – talk about procedurals and how you can use it in your project to build great art directable content.

John provided an introduction to procedural modelling, explained what proceduralism all about (and what’s it not), and demonstrated how to harness its power to generate better models.
