Kwalee Announces One Billion Mobile Game Installs Milestone

The company has shared that it achieved 200 million installs last year alone, bringing the total number of downloads to 1 billion.

British developer and publisher Kwalee has announced that mobile games across its portfolio have been installed over 1 billion times.

The company behind titles such as Draw it, Teacher Simulator, and Airport Security, revealed the news in a press release thanking its players, its in-house teams, and the developers it collaborated with.

In addition to celebrating the new milestone, Kwalee revealed that 200 million of its games were downloaded last year alone and boasted the fact that it currently has more than 45 chart-topping games.

"We’re elated to reach this milestone. As a founder of Kwalee and someone with a long history in the games industry, it's incredibly rewarding to see us reach this level of success," Kwalee CEO David Darling said. "I've always been passionate about creating games that bring joy and entertainment to people, and to have reached one billion installs is a clear indication that we've been able to achieve that goal."

Founded in 2011, Kwalee publishes games for mobile, PC, and console platforms and is best known for its hypercasual games for iOS and Android devices. It currently has studios in the UK, India, China, and Portugal.
