Lords Of The Fallen Reboot Revealed

A trailer for the game was shared at Opening Night Live.

The Lords of the Fallen, a reboot of the 2014 action RPG, has been revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live. The announcement was accompanied by a cinematic trailer narrated by Stranger Things' Joseph Quinn.

Little is known about the project but a press release notes a full gameplay walkthrough will be shared towards the end of the year. The game's world is said to be interconnected plus five times larger than the original universe. The dev team promises a "fast, fluid, and challenging combat system" and "devastating magic".

"The Lords of the Fallen is the spiritual successor fans of the original title have always wanted. The game is significantly larger, with a vast, interconnected dual world split between the realms of the living and dead, that players can explore alone or with friends. It's darker and more challenging, with faster soulslike combat, stronger thematic, richer narrative, deeper RPG systems, and more immersive storytelling," Hexworks' creative director Cezar Virtosu said.
