Minecraft Landscapes Turned Into Realistic Environments

Check out this cool Twitter account, the author of which uses neural filters to turn Minecraft into a real world.

A new Twitter account had emerged a couple of days ago dedicated entirely to creating semi-realistic versions of Minecraft landscapes. The author of said account uses neural filters to reimagine environments from the iconic game and show us what they would have looked like in our real world. Unfortunately, it is not clear what particular GANs are used to create such magnificent results, but all signs point to NVIDIA's recently released GANcraft, a neural rendering framework for generating photorealistic images of large 3D block worlds such as those created in Minecraft.
