MxTools Launches FormCutter 3.0

The updated version of the plug-in comes with several new tools, libraries to store ngons and meshes, and bug fixes.

MxTools has released FormCutter 3.0, a new and improved version of their boolean-based tool for 3ds Max that allows its user to cut inward or outward in objects along a freehand path that you draw with the tool.

Available for 3ds Max 2017-2024 x64, the release brings several new tools for real-time, shape, and face cuts, adds libraries for storing ngons, shapes, and meshes, improves the tool's UI, and fixes some internal bugs.

FormCutter 3.0 features:

  • Added new hybrid circular menu UI;
  • Added snap by face vertices;
  • Added mirror in XY axis;
