Nvidia's RTX 3080 Ti Launches on June 3

Nvidia releases its latest GPUs, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, a week apart, on June 3 and June 10 respectively.

Nvidia announced the official release date for GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. The RTX 3080 Ti launches earlier, on June 3, while RTX 3070 Ti sales begin on June 10. The almighty RTX 3080 Ti features 3rd generation Tensor Cores for DLSS performance boosts, 2nd generation RT Cores to accelerate ray tracing, and the latest streaming multiprocessors to turbocharge traditional games. On top of that, you get 12GB of superfast GDDR6X memory. All this makes the new product up to 2X faster than the last generation.

The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti features more CUDA Cores and 8GB of GDDR6X memory. RTX 3070 Ti is about 1.5 times faster than the previous-gen GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER. Like any other GPU in the line, both RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti will support Nvidia's ray tracing and DLSS technologies.

In the official announcement, Nvidia reminds potential buyers about the reduced Ethereum hash rate that is supposed to make the new products less desirable to professional miners.

The price for the new RTX 3080 Ti starts at $1,199, and the RTX 3070 Ti starts at $599.
