Sony has released a new financial report for Q3 2022 (the three months that ended December 31, 2022) revealing that it shipped 7.1 million units of PlayStation 5 during that period which brings lifetime sales of the console to 32.1 million units.
The 7.1 figure represents an 83% increase compared to Q3 2021 which is attributed to increased supply and better availability in stores.
