Primordials Legends – Hollow Hero: an Upcoming Combat Wombat Adventure

The first in a series of short stories created by Toybox Games Studios has a Kickstarter campaign.

Take a look at Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero – an upcoming third-person adventure starring a wombat. Developed by Toybox Games Studios, the game is the first in a series of short stories set in the fantasy world of Eridal.

It tells the tale of Brunt, an anthropomorphic wombat, and her first adventure outside of "The Hollow" to save her people.

Hollow Hero is built upon three pillars: gameplay, Brunt the wombat, and the abundant with life world. The gameplay focuses on platforming, combat, and a variety of puzzles. You can climb, burrow, body slam your enemies, and much more.

The developers want to make the game exhilarating to play while capturing the essence of Brunt as a giant wombat. Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero is a single-player, linear experience that was inspired by several mediums "to hone in on what makes an epic action adventure game."

The creators describe Brunt as a misunderstood creature due to her size and strength, but she is in fact selfless and willing to sacrifice everything for those she loves. Toybox Games Studios aim to make Brunt feel relatable while maintaining her protagonist role.

The world of Eridal is inhabited by anthropomorphic animals and is full of secrets, including mystical god-like creatures that control the elements. Expect to see a vast land with diverse biomes and structures, secrets hidden around every corner, locations to discover, and mysteries to solve.

Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero is being developed for PC using the Unreal Engine, but the developers are considering development for other platforms like Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo.
