Setting Up Gradients in Blender with Geometry Nodes

3D Artist D0ppelgaenger shared the results of a cool experiment with gradients.

A 3D Artist known as D0ppelgaenger demonstrated a cool experimental Blender setup that is able to calculate the direction of the gradient of an attribute and trace lines along it. The setup is powered by Geometry Nodes and, according to the artist, is still WiP. At the moment, the author commented, the setup only works on pure quad meshes but on the future, the creator considers making the setup more reliable on evey mesh and sharing the nodes behind the project.
