Sony Suspends Sales in Russia

The company will stop selling consoles and games via PlayStation Store. 

Sony announced they decided to pull business out of Russia. The company decided that its gaming division, Sony Interactive Entertainment, will suspend hardware shipments and software launches in Russia.

The company also announced they restrict access to PlayStation Store, Sony’s online gaming storefront, and call off the Russian release of Gran Turismo 7.

Previously, a number of other game companies decided to shut down sales in Russia, including Ubisoft, Rockstar Games, Activision Blizzard, CD Project Red, and others. Sony's main competitor, Microsoft, shut down sales in the country, too.
