Spencer Confirms The Elder Scrolls 6 Is Not Coming To PlayStation

The game will be an Xbox exclusive.

In an interview with British GQ, Spencer confirmed the sequel to Skyrim will not visit other platforms including PlayStation. The game goes for Starfield as the team previously noted that the game is only coming for Xbox Series X/S and PC earlier this year.

"It’s not about punishing any other platform, like I fundamentally believe all of the platforms can continue to grow," Spencer said. "But in order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to bring the full complete package of what we have. And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls VI. That would be true when I think about any of our franchises."

It is also reported that the team will fully focus on the development of the sequel after they are done with the development of Starfield so it appears we might have to wait at least for 2025 or 2026 to play the next adventure.
