Steam Gets Record-Breaking 27M Concurrent Users

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive leads the number with 915,791 concurrent players at its peak.

SteamDB's latest data states Steam has reached a new record of concurrent users with 27 million people visiting the platform yesterday. PC Gamer reported that the record was registered by data platform SteamDB, saying that 27,384,959 players connected at the same time on November 28.

The report also notes that 7.8 million of all 27 million users were in-game. As for the most popular game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is still the undefeated beast with 915,791 players at its peak within the last 24 hours. The result is followed by Dota 2 with 677,744 players and PUBG: Battlegrounds with 344,841.
