This lifelike effect was made for Project Wingman, a 2020 combat flight action game.

Check out this incredibly-realistic explosion effect shared by Game Developer RB-D2 and made for Project Wingman, a 2020 combat flight action game developed by Sector D2 and published by Sector D2 and Humble Games.

According to the developer, the effect was made to test out dynamic cloud masking in Unreal Engine 4 in order to find out how the game's digital clouds would react to in-game nuclear explosions.
