The Blender Foundation Releases Blender 2.93 LTS

Discover all the new features of Blender 2.93 Long Term Stable.

The Blender Foundation has released version 2.93 Long Term Stable (LTS) of the open-source 3D software Blender. It completes the 2.9 release cycle and will have bug fixes for the next two years. Blender 2.93 is now available for download for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

The new version comes with 22 new nodes that were added to the Geometry Nodes editor expanding the attribute system, sampling textures, and support for volume data. It is also now possible to create mesh circles, cones, cubes, cylinders, grids, ICO-spheres, UV-spheres, and lines without leaving the Geometry Nodes editor.

User experience has also been improved, using Geometry Nodes is now much easier thanks to error reporting, search, and a new way to inspect your geometry.
