The University of Bolton and Fabrik Games Partnered Up

The University of Bolton and Manchester-based Fabrik Games work together to give students of gaming degree programs a chance to work with real companies from the industry.

The Persistence

The University of Bolton, the UK, and Manchester-based game development studio Fabrik Games partnered up to give an opportunity for gaming programs’ students to work in the industry and bring their skills to a new level. During the program, the students receive regular coaching, mentoring, and feedback from the studio’s members. The program runs successfully with two students getting a job as a result.

“As the partnership continues we hope to be able to offer more jobs to students at our studio, at the same time helping to give everyone on the courses the opportunity to prepare themselves to be ready to move into the gaming industry straight from education.”

Fabrik Games was founded in 2014 by a former Studio Director of Sony’s Studio Liverpool Graeme Ankers. The studio’s games library includes Filthy Lucre, The Lost Bear, and The Persistence. See more details on the official website
