Watch NBA in 3D with Apple Vision Pro

Set it up anywhere in AR.

Augmented reality is a fantastically wide field for experimentation, as proven by Meta, Apple, and other headset developers. Imagine if you could watch an NBA match anywhere you wanted. VirtualeX's Founder and CEO Danny K showed that it's not a mere fantasy. He teased a demo trailer of a 3D project the team has been working on, and it looks impressively realistic.

The miniature basketball court seems like it belongs on that table, and while the company is using pre-recorded footage at the moment, it has plans for live videos as well.

We've seen similarly spirited concepts before, for example, in John LePore's Formula 1 project, which sets the track up on any surface in mixed reality and adds engagement with extra information you can get from the virtual panels.
