WB Montréal has recently updated its list of open positions, and one of them says the team is working on a brand new AAA game. The developer is looking for a talented candidate who will "design, develop, maintain, and optimize cross-platform Gameplay systems and algorithms with specific 3Cs/Animation components."
WB Montréal is currently working on Gotham Knights, an open-world, action RPG that is expected to be released in 2022. The company has previously released 2 other Batman games, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Origins. Some speculate that the next "IP, AAA game" might be related to Superman, however, nothing has been confirmed yet.
According to the job description, the new employee will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and debugging efficient gameplay/animation systems for the new title. WB Montréal is looking for a candidate with 3–5 years of software development experience in the game industry and over 6 years of experience with C/C++.
