3D Artist Unveiled a Powerful UE5 Tool for Effortless Combat Scene Creation

A procedural hit reaction system by 3D Artist Jared Taylor is a game-ready solution with multiple options and high customizability.

3D Artist Jared Taylor unveiled a useful tool for game developers who work in Unreal Engine that will help in visualizing combat scenes.

The tool is a free procedural hit reaction system titled ProcHitReact, which allows you to add procedural physics-driven hit reactions on skeletal meshes to your game projects. The toolset ensures profile-based hit reactions for every situation. There are several profiles available: melee, twitch, bump pawn, and more. You can also switch between multiple profiles without losing quality or speed, as the system provides stable results under rapid reapplication with multiple profiles.

ProcHitReact is multiplayer-ready, so you can directly implement it into your co-op games, as well as singleplayer game projects. The tool features high levels of customization and extendability.

The creator also notes that many of the tool's features are in beta, as every use case can't feasibly be tested.

Get the tool here and don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our new Discord server, follow us on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, TikTok, and Threads, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
