You will prototype and execute visually stunning environmental spaces that enhance gameplay and tell bold, cohesive visual stories. You will collaborate with level design to support navigation, pacing, sight lines, cover, verticality, and AI. You will drive all visual assets for your spaces, engaging proactively with Art Leadership, Level and Narrative Design, Concept Art, and External Vendors. You will ensure assets meet pipeline and technical specs while maintaining performance within memory and budget limits. As a Senior Level Artist, you will collaborate across disciplines to analyze and optimize overall performance.
What You Bring:
- Established experience in the game industry as a mid-level to senior Level Artist, preferably with experience working with larger, complex productions.
- Proficient art and technical experience within a real-time Game Engine (Unreal 4 is a plus).

Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of the content creation pipeline, including modeling, UV mapping, texturing, shading, lighting, FX, rigging, and animation.
- Demonstrable experience with modern game content creation workflows.
- Proven experience as a Technical Artist on shipped AAA titles.

Throughout the full production process, you will provide performance guidance to actors, supervise motion capture, and collaborate with the team to maintain high standards in performance, editing, acting, and post-production sound. Ultimately, you will be responsible for shaping the overall game experience in a real-time Unreal 5 AAA game.
Requirements:
- Passionate about games, with a strong creative enthusiasm for narrative-driven performances.
- Possess over 7 years of experience in the film, animation, or gaming industry as a director.
- Understand modern Western culture and characters and ways of telling a story.
- Approach the best game experiences creatively and independently, producing animated storyboards and supervising their implementation within the game engine.
- Excellent cinematography work, storytelling techniques, and understanding of the concept of the visual hierarchy and how to lead the player's attention to the story.

You will partner with Designers, Artists, and Engineers to achieve the artistic and technical vision for the game while identifying potential workflow issues and collaborating on solutions. You will research new technologies and techniques, prototyping new workflows to enhance development. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other Technical Artists and teams to align technologies and workflows where applicable.
