80 Level launches a Community Metasites Challenge

In this challenge, participants are asked to craft exceptional experiences, with the chance to win prizes sponsored by renowned names in technology, game tech, and 3D tools. Moreover, it provides a golden opportunity to engage with the global 80 Level community, fostering connections and collaboration among the best 3D and game design talent in the world.

80 Level Community Metasites is an initiative in partnership with Xsolla Cloud Gaming, to provide creators access to cloud gaming technology, enabling streaming of their experiences worldwide with access to Xsolla’s robust payments technology.

Objectives

Artists are challenged to create a unique experience by starting with a basic blockout level with initial game mechanics. This even includes a boss fight with a hungry swirling monster, as well as mechanics for opening doors, collecting power-ups, and earning a final reward. 

Designers showcasing your aesthetics, from visual design, and sound design to layout and composition, innovative and technical wizardry execution, and capacity to captivate the audience with your creative ideas. 

Key Dates

The 3D Metasites will run from November 15th 2023 to February 15th 2024.

Who can participate

Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.  We invite creators from around the world to submit their art as an Unreal Engine build along with any required documentation.
