After Sony canceled an unannounced game of Bend Studio, its representative stated that they still plan to create "cool sh*it."
Last week, Sony shut down unannounced live-service games in development at Bend Studio, which Sony's rep confirmed to Bloomberg. As the spokesperson announced, the studio would remain open, stating they were working closely "to determine what are the next projects and plan to do everything we can to ensure there is minimal business impact."
Kevin McAllister, Community Manager of Bend Studio, took to Twitter to comment on the situation. He thanked the audience for love and support and noted that the company would continue creating new products, saying, "We still plan on creating cool sh*it":
According to the company's job listings, the said title has been allegedly in development since spring. Bend Studio's game wasn't the only one canceled by Sony, which recently closed Bluepoint's game, reportedly set in the God of War universe, along with other numerous titles – The Last of Us Online, Twisted Metal, Destiny spin-off from Bungie, Concord, and more.
Previously, there were suggestions that the sequel to the acclaimed zombie survival game Days Gone would also not be released, much to the disappointment of fans.
