Build a City that Spans 2,500 Years in This New Simulation Game

France-based indie developer 5PM Studio has released Memoriapolis, a city builder where you can build a city and set a culture for it. During the 2,500 years of history that the city stands through, you'll witness a series of major historical events, with the main goal being to obtain the status of "Capital of Capitals" with your witness.

Journey in Memoriapolis will cover four ages, "Each Age introduces its own game mechanics, presenting a distinct set of opportunities and challenges for the player's dynasty to navigate," the game's description reads. Each age is connected and brings the traces into the next age.  

In this city-building game, you'll get to explore and engage in typical activities, such as resource and faction management. Your every choice in the game matters as they will shape the future of the territory. Meanwhile, remember to deal with the residents' needs and expectations properly, and interact with them by building facilities like farms and cutting camps to guarantee their living. 

With the help of the game's unique algorithm, players will be able to build the most realistic city in video games. The game even makes it possible to "build wonders like the Great Library of Alexandria, Windsor Castle, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Palace of Versailles and more."

Just like in real history, there will be some fatal events that might result in losing the game, like the Black Death, riots, and strikes, which require strategic management skills to make your city survive. 

Launched in early access yesterday, Memoriapolis is available now with a 15% offer. It is highly replayable as it offers different choices over the roles, including craftsman, politician, philosopher, and more, as shown in the picture below.
