Check out This Cozy Fantasy Adventure Game with The Wind Waker Vibes

Night Stones will be available in less than two weeks.

If you enjoy cozy adventure games like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, don’t miss out on Night Stones, an upcoming cute, relaxing adventure game developed by Advance Nine.

You take the role of a boy raised by a single father. One day, you wake up on an isolated island where magical stones change day to night. Customize your character before starting to find your way home, and explore the vast open world with your trusty glider and sailboat without worrying about time limits on quests or death. There will be different locals to meet up with in the game; each of them is unique and might be able to help you if you gain their trust.

The fantasy part of the game allows you to, for example, collect mineral shards and use them to craft magical items like speed boots and an elemental wand that is chargeable with fireballs from a campfire.

Through the video below, the developer Advance Nine explained how this “cozy game” was created and talked about the new features that are being worked on, like the Oracle’s Castle, a fire trail, a new enemy type, and more. Speaking of the enemies in the game, you’ll need to use some wits to tackle them in puzzle combats.

A demo is here for those interested in exploring, and you can experience a lot of fun features, like the keepsake treasures, which offer hints to piece up the whole touching story, and the ability to move your camera, which allows you to look around the surroundings without moving the character, etc. We also encourage you to wishlist the full game here so you can be notified when it’s launched.
