Crocotile 3D v.2.3.8 Has Been Released

This update improves tile placement, reducing the chances of small gaps forming, and fixes baking and some Sticky Tool issues.

Developer Alex Hanson-White has just released a new version of Crocotile 3D, a tile-based 3D modeling app for creating low-poly models and scenes with pixel-art textures.

Crocotile 3D v2.3.8's tiles have vertices aligned more precisely and with fewer floating point errors when placed into the scene, reducing the likelihood of small gaps forming. Additionally, baking lights no longer crash the app if the scene consists of just a plane of tiles or lacks dimension in one or more axis.

Moreover, now the Sticky Tool should size tiles more appropriately if Sticky Edge Proportionate is enabled, and the Sticky Brush should be angled correctly when holding the Shift key.
