Development of Elden Ring DLC Is Progressing Smoothly

A new financial report shared details on Shadow of the Erdtree and revealed some sales figures behind Armored Core VI. 

The development of the expansion for Elden Ring titled Shadow of the Erdtree is progressing according to plan, according to the latest financial report released by Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware. However, Kadokawa didn't share even an approximate release date for the DLC, which was announced back in February.

The report also shared that in Japan, sales of Armored Core VI have exceeded 700,000 copies, marking the highest result in the series' history. Previous installments of the game sold no more than 225K copies in the country.

Kadokawa predicted that global sales of Armored Core VI will increase in the second half of the financial year, although the overall sales figures have not been disclosed by the company.

Game sales have decreased by 20% compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year. Still, the company considers the initial performance of Armored Core VI to be good. The report was originally noticed on Twitter.
