Dragon's Dogma 2 is an upcoming single-player, narrative-driven action RPG developed by Capcom. Announced back in June 2022, the game promises to bring a unique experience where you can "choose your own experience" and dive into an immersive fantasy world. Earlier this year, the developer shared that the follow-up will use Capcom's proprietary RE ENGINE, ensuring the game world will be about four times larger than the previous installment. It will include a vast array of enemies, events, and locations all designed with the latest graphical advancements.

Today, IGN has shared an exclusive gameplay video ahead of Dragon's Dogma 2 official release that is slated for March 22, 2024. The video is a little bit over 18 minutes and highlights four character classes, referred to as vocations within the game.

These classes include the sword and shield Fighter, the agile dagger-wielding Thief, the heavy weapon-wielding Warrior, and the spell-casting Sorcerer. As many players noted, the game actually looks promising (well, of course, as Capcom builds upon the already impressive foundation established by the original Dragon's Dogma).

Some praise the style of the game, saying: "I'm so amazed at how perfectly they’ve kept the overall look and style of the original game but given it such a beautiful new coat of paint. It's so cool seeing some of the old monsters with updated graphics and a fresh look!", while others like little details shown in the gameplay: "The little details of how the character slides down hills and how the character's head actually tracks the enemy is awesome. I think the highlight for me was seeing the pawn give you a boost to jump onto the boss."
