Dynamic Painting With Player Character Inside UE5 Using Niagara Grid2D

Daniel Bobrowski is working on a new tutorial.

Since the release of Unreal 4, Niagara has started incorporating Grid2D and Simulation Stages, making it easier for us to create fluid solvers with Grid2D collection. You can think of Grid2D as an enhanced version of Render Targets but much more flexible.

Daniel Bobrowski, the creator of the UnrealLearn YouTube channel, which focuses on all things Unreal Engine 5, has revealed that he's working on a new video exploring Grid2D.
