WILL: Follow The Light is coming later this year.
TomorrowHead Studio has released the first gameplay reveal trailer for WILL: Follow The Light, a story-driven, first-person adventure puzzle game created with Unreal Engine 5.
The game has a compelling story about the perilous personal journey of a father named Will, looking for his only son, who got lost in a sudden disaster that hit your hometown, through a journey across the harsh northern latitudes with a sailing yacht, Molly. As you explore, more questions arise, whose answers are scattered around an abandoned island.
When the song plays and the screen gets a little brighter at the beginning, I feel the hope is there, although the future looks gloomy. "I will find you, wherever you are," a shivering, touching voice from a desperate dad, followed by loud waves that can tell how tough the journey ahead would be.

The immersive lighting and environmental storytelling both tell a cinematic adventure, along which you'll encounter various puzzles to be resolved. There are also deep exploration and traversal systems, such as realistic sailing and dog sledding mechanics, as you explore the vast, stunning landscapes.
Developer TomorrowHead Studio is a small, self-funded team passionate about travel who hope to share their enthusiasm with players through this first-person exploration experience about discovering new places and worlds. In this article, Roman, the founder and game director, offers some insights into the development of WILL: Follow the Light and how Unreal Engine 5 has empowered indie game developers.
