The co-founder of Rockstar Games Dan Houser has decided to form a new company, incorporation documents filed in the United Kingdom a week ago state. For those of you who missed the news, Houser left Rockstar in 2020.
The new company is called Absurd Ventures in Games and it appears Houser will be the company’s producer and creative director, plus its corporate director.
One of the members of GTA Forums noted that its U.K. SIC code is 62011. This code is usually used for "computer games design and ready-made interactive leisure and entertainment software development.
Originally, Houser launched Rockstar Games with his brother, Sam Houser, in 1998. In February 2020, Rockstar parent Take-Two Interactive announced that Dan Houser left the company after a six-month break.
