Marvel's Spider-Man 2 To Feature "Very Cool" Dialogue Technology

That's according to Insomniac Games' lead engineer programmer Elan Ruskin.

Insomniac Games' upcoming titles, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine, could potentially feature a new dialogue technology.

The lead engine programmer of Insomniac Games, Elan Ruskin, mentioned during a live stream on the studio's official Twitch channel (via TwistedVoxel) that the studio's next game, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, will have some "very cool" dialogue technology.

Possibly, this technology might also make an appearance in Marvel's Wolverine which is presumably coming out a year or two later.

It's unclear now what this new dialogue technology encompasses. Insomniac may potentially showcase it during the rumored PlayStation showcase, where other projects being developed by Sony's first-party studios are also expected to be featured.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5 in the fall of 2023. The game will take place following the events of both Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales and will feature the dynamic Spider-Man duo, returning for the franchise's next "blockbuster action chapter."
