The long list of bugs fixed and minor improvements do not align with what the fans have been eagerly anticipating.

Three months after Bethesda, the developer, announced last December that 2024 would bring more content and updates, Starfield's most recent update has finally landed. However, to the disappointment of its eager fans, the update did not bring with it the anticipated new content, which caused some players to start losing their patience.
As promised, enhancements were made to the photo mode to give the ability to set expressions and poses for players and companions. The developer makes a change that enables players to use the Undo function without the penalty of losing a digipick during the Security mini-game. The functionality to open doors and harvest with the scanner open, and the capacity to set inactive quests as active are improvements well worth noticing.

Despite these minor improvements, the latest update primarily focused on bug fixes instead, including a wide range of issues related to art, gameplay, graphics, UI, and more.
The much-anticipated first DLC Shattered Space, packed with fresh story content, locations, gear, and more, was absent from this update. Also, the promised modding tools such as an exporter and a new Creation Kit were not included.
With the majority of the bugs now addressed, hopefully, developers can redirect their attention towards crafting the eagerly-awaited content for players.
As mentioned in our previous report, the plan is to release updates for Starfield approximately every six weeks starting from February 2024. This means that fans may only need to exercise a little more patience, as the next update could be just a month and a half away.
