This release adds support for textures to the Paint tool and allows painting while using surfacing tools.
Substance 3D Modeler
Substance 3D Modeler 1.14, the latest version of Adobe's VR sculpting software, enhances color functionality by updating the Paint tool and extending color support to surfacing tools.
Now, the Paint Tool supports textures, making it possible to create decals. The surfacing tools can also be used to paint, with the Buildup, Raise, and Inflate tools getting a Color intensity slider.
This release also introduces updates to VR controls to free up the Support trigger so that it can act like a modifier key while in VR. This change is expected to enhance the functionality of VR controllers in future updates. Additionally, Substance 3D Modeler 1.14 features several quality-of-life improvements, including scaling handles now resizing asymmetrically by default, along with numerous bug fixes.
